The story of Johnson Grading Company was given a new chapter in 1990 when it was purchased by its current owner, Gary Pope. Gary's journey began with a vision and a significant leap of faith. When starting the company's assets were modest: a single truck, a small dump truck, and a broken backhoe. This simple fleet was the foundation upon which he began to build. Through sheer hard work, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to quality service, Johnson Grading Company Inc. has done more than just survive—it has flourished and grown exponentially over the last three and a half decades.
